Saia's rooftop

Saia sat in the middle of the night, her dark skin blending in perfectly with the black night. She was waiting patiently, and unafraid. She knew that she wouldn't be seen this high up, giving her comfort enough to leave her coat off for this meeting. She felt butterflies in her stomach when she saw a figure on the street approach the building and go inside. He was here...the one man she trusted with all her secrets...and knew would protect her with his life. It didn't take long for the hatch to the roof to open up and a cloaked figure to step out, his white fur barely peeking out of the coat.

Saia quickly got up and ran to him, smiling. "Jed! I was worried you wouldn't make it!" She said, her voice ringing out telepathically.

Jed pulled Saia into a hug, smiling down at her. "I'm sorry, I had some business to attend to." He said softly.

Saia smiled up at him. "That's okay...I'm ready to go when you are." She said happily, putting on her coat and pulling her hood over her face, hiding her eyes. Jed smiled and led her away to the next town, always happy to have her with him.
